About Peripatetic Labs
Peripatetic Labs is the consulting practice of Brent Williams, an engineering leader and systems builder with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering data-intensive SaaS platforms.
Brent has worked across the full lifecycle of software development — as an engineer and architect, as a product manager, and as a leader of engineering teams. This breadth allows him to move from problem definition to platform design to execution, and to build systems that are both technically robust and aligned with real-world needs.
Over the course of his career, Brent has founded, worked for, and consulted with more than 20 startups, helping turn early ideas into production systems and scalable platforms. His experience spans clean energy, fintech, and public policy, including work on core platforms at Sunrun and the data-intensive public policy search engine at Statt.
Peripatetic Labs focuses on work at the intersection of product, data, and engineering — particularly in environments that are complex, fast-moving, or high-stakes. The goal is simple: to turn ambiguity into production-ready systems that deliver real-world value.

Delivered all product definition, back end, front end, and cloud infrastructure.

NWP Grants Management SaaS Application
Architect, develop, and maintain a suite of user-friendly full-stack web applications for an educational non-profit's grants management system, including data gathering, reporting, and data visualization. Tools used include Python, Django, MySQL, and Metabase.
